Orange County traffic school: court permission, fees and completion
Use your Orange County, California court notice to confirm the next step. Check permission, proof-of-correction instructions and the court’s completion date before choosing a school.
Confirm court permission and separate fees
Check your Orange County notice. Ask the court if permission is unclear or the notice is missing. Court charges and school tuition are separate. Orange County traffic-school instructions.
Find the correct case and available actions
Have your citation or case number and OC Pay number available. Use the court’s own Traffic & Infractions page to reach My Court Portal and the OC Pay information. Do not send case identifiers or payment details to this school’s public guidance tools.
The portal enables only actions available for the case. A disabled button is a reason to ask the court about your options; it is not something this school can override. The court’s FAQ lists (657) 622-8459 for assistance, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. My Court Portal FAQ.
Keep the court decision separate from payment
Confirm the court’s instructions before selecting a provider. Orange County describes electronic reporting for approved online programs; this does not establish our school’s availability. Traffic-school instructions.
If your case includes correctable violations, the portal FAQ says the court must receive valid proof of correction before online traffic-school enrollment. The court will notify you about the enrollment request and completion date after reviewing the proof. Portal FAQ.
Ask the court about a completion extension
Orange County describes one 30-day extension for completing traffic school once the traffic-school fines and fees have been paid. That is separate from extensions for other case deadlines or payment arrangements. The separately described 30-day extension for certain payment plans expressly excludes traffic-school payment plans. Court extension instructions.
For eligible infraction cases, the portal enables its extension action. Requesting an extension is not confirmation that the deadline changed; check the court’s response and recorded date. Portal extension FAQ.
If paying all at once is difficult
The court’s self-help page identifies form TR-310 for traffic-school fee installments and instructs people to bring it to a court location. It also says these arrangements are unavailable by mail. Traffic-school self-help.
The court’s traffic-school page says internet payment arrangements are unavailable, while its portal FAQ describes online payment plans for eligible cases more generally. These statements do not establish that a traffic-school installment plan is available online. Ask the court which procedure applies to your traffic-school request.
Verify completion with the court
Keep completion and reporting records. You remain responsible for ensuring the court receives proof by its deadline. Ask the court about a missing record; school completion alone is not court receipt. Completion instructions.
