Program Overview
Explore the course prepared for DMV review, or sign in to an active enrollment when enrollment is available. The free preview does not satisfy a court requirement. Paid enrollment and official completion reporting remain closed until the school’s licensing details and TVCC access are verified and activated.
| Format | Self-paced online instruction. Compatible with desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. |
|---|---|
| Total instruction time | Self-paced instructional flow designed around DMV form OL 613 requirements. |
| Modules | 13 course sections, including an introduction, instructional chapters, and examination preparation. |
| Final examination | 25 multiple-choice questions, 60 minutes, and at least 18 correct answers to pass (72%). Open-book: you may consult the course materials while answering for yourself. The clock continues while you review or reconnect. |
| Completion receipt | An eligible enrolled student must complete the instruction, identity checks, chapter checks, final exam, and OL 767 evaluation, and confirm the required identifying and court details. The receipt, DMV TVCC submission, and the court’s posting are separate steps. Preview records are demonstrations only. |
Eligibility
Your court determines whether traffic school is available for your case. Before enrolling:
- Confirm with the court that your license and cited violation meet its eligibility requirements.
- Keep the court’s permission, your citation or case number, and the completion deadline.
- Ask how the 18-month rule applies to your case. For the usual confidential-conviction benefit, the interval is measured between violation dates.
- Provide your California driver license or ID number if you have one. A student without either uses the date-of-birth reporting path for an eligible California case; an out-of-state license alone does not make the case ineligible.
Fees
| Course Type | Fee |

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this school licensed and accepting enrollment?
Paid enrollment and official reporting are currently closed while the school’s licensing details and TVCC access are finalized. The preview is free. Before any official enrollment, confirm your court’s permission, deadline, and the school’s current license.
Can I complete the course in multiple sittings?
Yes. The preview saves your place only in this browser; clearing site data or changing devices can lose that progress. An enrolled course saves confirmed progress to your account while you are signed in. Wait for a successful save before leaving, and sign in to the same account when you return. Preview work does not transfer into an enrollment. School access does not extend your court deadline.
How is my completion reported to the DMV and the court?
For an eligible enrolled course, complete the instruction, identity checks, chapter checks, final exam, and OL 767 evaluation, then confirm your identifying and court details. You may submit the evaluation with your name only. Save the completion receipt when it is issued; your course password is retired at that point.
The school then reports the eligible completion through DMV’s TVCC system. A DMV submission receipt is separate from the court posting the result to your case. Ask the school to confirm submission and follow your court’s instructions to check its record. Preview completions are never official submissions and cannot be converted by paying afterward.
What happens if I do not pass the final examination?
The enrolled course permits two attempts. The second uses a different set of questions. Each examination has 25 questions, a 60-minute limit, and requires at least 18 correct answers. You may refer to the course materials while answering for yourself. If both attempts are unsuccessful, no completion is issued; contact the school and your court about the next steps. Preview practice is separate from the protected final examination.
